Story 3: Brother Paul Smith
I was a teacher in Melbourne supervising a student on detention, when suddenly he burst into tears, He told me that he was sleeping in his 11 year-old sister’s bedroom every night, armed with a kitchen knife, his back against the door –to stop his Dad coming in to rape her. 

In March 1991, Br Paul Smith, Director of BoysTown was instrumental in the foundation of a support service for children in need - Kids Help Line.  3,272 young people called on the first day and since then more than 5.2 million telephone and online sessions have helped children seeking Kids Help Line's support.
